When my friend and I visited Gili Trawangan (Gili T) again at the end of May 2013, we decided not to squander our money on accommodation. So I looked around some website, and my eyes hooked with the photos of Le Petit Gili. When I saw that there’s only 1 room left, and it only has 3 rooms, I booked the room instantly.

What’s surprising was the bathroom. Well not the room, but the door. There’s no door, only curtain haha.
The bathroom is so simple, but it’s nice 🙂 Everything is there, except toothpaste and shampoo (for the soap, there were only two soap bars), at least there are sufficient towels for us 😀

Every time I looked around, I found something interesting. Just like the towel hangers. That’s really unique! I never thought there’s towel hangers look like that 😉 Then the window. I like how they use old windows. Not just one, but they use quite a few of old windows for the room.
They also provided Flat-screen TV and DVD player inside the room. To be my surprised, I never turned it on haha. But I think the most important thing is the wi-fi haha. Yes, we could access the internet through the wi-fi and luckily from inside the room too. Just registered yourself downstairs at the cafe to get the login and password.

The location could become a problem to someone who doesn’t easily sleep like us. Haha. You can hear the noise from the nearby party, or even the people chatting from the night market. But … I see the location of Le Petit Gili as very nice, as it’s in the ‘middle’ of the road. It’s not too far to go the left-side of the island (sunset point or even to Queen Villa), or to the right-side of the island (Coral beach bar). And even we can rent a bike for free from the hotel 😉
Now how about the food? Well, food is something that you can get everywhere in Gili T. Even if you’re quite lazy to stroll around to the nearby restaurant; the cafe below the room also provides food. The space is quite small. When I asked about the favourite food in this restaurant, the staff said: BURGER!! Haha … Sure! And I ordered double cheese burger, which is bigger than my mouth! Two big chunk of burger meat under the bread. Haha … Don’t forget to get your free breakfast every morning from this restaurant. There are 3 choices of breakfast menu, and my friend always said ‘Choose the most expensive one!!’ and sure I did! Haha …

Will I stay here again in the future? Of course! It’s a lovely place to stay that’s why I share it to you 🙂
