One day, I read a tweet from @zen_habits about ‘Clearing Your Life for a New Year.’ And Leo Babauta, who wrote the article saying ‘clear this, clear that, and clear paperwork …’ Err … Okay, my eyes automatically looked at the pile of papers, books, and I don’t know what else that sit on my desk!Β And my mind suddenly remember that I like to keep small papers inside my drawer. I could find receipts from so many months ago, even receipts that I don’t know what’s written on the paper because the ink has gone lol! Then I also found the movie tickets (I like to collect the tickets even though I’m not sure what to do with the tickets :D).

And I think Leo talks a lot about cluttering, until I read the article about ‘The Just in Case Syndrome.’ Oops!! I think I know what he’s going to say haha! πŸ˜€

I know … Most of the papers on my desk are because ‘The Just in Case.’ Just in case I need that paper in the future. Just in case I can use this small space at this paper in the future. Just in case this … Just in case that.

I think reading all the articles about ‘cluttering’ in Leo’s website, I consider the clutter on my desk was a small clutter, but still it’s a clutter.

Oh well, it’s a long weekend here in Jakarta (Monday is a Chinese New Year), so I’m surely has a lot of time to declutter my desk and my drawers too! πŸ˜€
