A hobbit house in Lembang? (I think) That’s what makes this new farmhouse susu Lembang becoming so popular recently. The place is called Farmhouse Susu Lembang, and it occupies a quite huge area, and even though it has a huge parking space too, the place can be crowded especially during the holiday. Just like when my friends and I decided to go there before Christmas time in 2015.
The plan was to go early in the morning so at least the place wouldn’t be crowded, but finally we started to go after 10:30 haha! As we expected, the place was already crowded, even cars could not enter the place anymore, as the parking space was already full.
The next day, we tried again, and this time we did not use car to go there, but instead, we used Uber! Luckily, we still has some Uber ride promotions up to IDR75,000 so it reduced the fare quite significantly.
And our second luck happened when the driver said that he wanted to wait for us there! Yeay …
Anyway … On our second attempt going to Farmhouse Susu Lembang, we left early, at around 8AM!
Guess what … ?!
We managed to arrive early and there were already cars queuing in front of the gate, as the gate opens at 9AM! We didn’t bring cars, so we did not need to worry on where to park our cars!
Entering the Farmhouse Susu Lembang
When the gate opened, we raaann frantically to the entrance of the complex – well to be honest, I was the one who ran … … !
At the entrance of this Farmhouse Susu Lembang complex, there are two ways, i.e. Enter (to the left) and Exit (from the right side). Sooo … I just followed it lah! And once again, I rannnn to the left side, following the path … looked left and right, still could not find that hobbit house! (Yes my main mission at that time was to find the hobbit house! Haha).
The first house that we saw … was not the hobbit house, but the cute little house is actually a gift shop house. The second house we entered, was not even the hobbit house. This time the house is quite big, and it’s also another a souvenirs shop house. Lol … so where’s the hobbit house?!
So we went out this souvenirs house and walked around where the setting of the houses are more like the European style houses. Well, although I’ve never been to Europe before, but at least that what I felt when walking pass these houses. But I think I made the right guess, as there’s also a costume rent that looks like the traditional Dutch Lady costume! It is up to you where do you want to take photos, either at the costume rental shop, or you can wear it during your visit at the Farmhouse Susu Lembang. Well it should cost more if you decided to walk around wearing the Dutch lady cloth – I did see someone still wearing this costume and walked around!
The mystery continue …
Where is the hobbit house?
We walked until we reached the end of the complex at the back – after the big building at the back, but we only found some parks behind the building.
We even asked some of the construction workers there – the place was not 100% finished when we visited the place, and I plainly asked ‘Do you know where the hobbit house is?’ lolss.
Then a staff said that the hobbit house is located besides this area, which apparently … near the exit.
Where is the hobbit house?
Do you still remember when I said that there are two ways at the entrance of this complex, Enter (to the left) and Exit (from the right side)! Yep … on your next visit, if your plan is to see the hobbit house … Just go the through the Exit one – to the right side.
After you make the entrance through the exit, you will find a milk drink counter, which at that time you can get free milk – but I did not take it, as my mission was to … (once again) to see the hobbit house. Haha.
Then finally …
The hobbit house … !!!
Luckily there were still not much people taking photos there haha!! So the house was us!
And after taking some photos with that house in the background, we could not find the hobbit, so we started exploring the place.
The Farmhouse Susu Lembang, is not the only place where you can get your free milk, or to take photos with the hobbit house, but I think this place is where you can take your family together to have a picnic, as I believe they would love it.
There are many parks to play, such as this:
… and there is also a rabbit house just beside the hobbit house.
You perhaps wondering, what is this house with the ‘circuit’ … Yes that’s the rabbit house.
There are plenty of rabbits in the house, where you can pet and take pictures with. They will love licking your fingers, as I believe the rabbits thought that it’s the carrot … until they bite your finger! Lolss ….
Not only that, the kids can learn things too, about animals and plants in here, such as to see chickens, love birds, and variation of cactus.
Talking about love birds … Look at this two lovely birds, they know how to love each other <3 <3 <3
This place also has a restaurant near the Dutch Lady clothing rental. The place could get busy during the holidays, and many people like to reserve in advance to save their table in the restaurant!
