This is the last part of my first date with Mel series 😉
…
After wandering around in Flinders Street, and spent some time in Swanston street; we headed to Eureka Tower to see Melbourne from above during the night.
Although when we went there around 9PM, the night didn’t look dark at all. Even it was still sunset time in Melbourne. That’s because it’s summer 😉
Luckily it’s still sunset time, so I could take some beautiful pictures beside Yarra river. Unfortunately I didn’t bring a tripod, so as long as you didn’t maximize the photos when you view it, I think the photos are going to be just fine haha!
…
The Eureka Tower is located near the Arts Centre Melbourne in the southbank.
As a residential tower, Eureka Tower with its 92 storeys, is the twelfth tallest residential building in the world (it was recognized as the tallest residential building when completed in 2006).
Although it’s a residential tower, it also has an observation deck called ‘Eureka Skydeck 88’ for visitors to see Melbourne from above. Why 88? That’s referring to the floor of the skydeck, and the elevator to 88 floor was really fast and considered to be the fastest lifts in the southern hemisphere (the speed is around 9 metres per second).
…
The view of the city of Melbourne from the 88th floor and in the night time was really nice. It’s 360 degrees view, and I could see Melbourne Park  from above.
The Skydeck was a great place to take pictures, but it would be much better if I had a tripod haha.
Anyway … It also has the extension of a small area outside of the building, it just like hanging outside of it. It can give you another perspective of the view haha!

The bright city of Melbourne from 88th Floor of Eureka Tower (the dots on the sky was actually the reflection of the light from the Skydeck lol!)

Have you seen a painting made using spray cans?
How about a painting made using chalk?
Well, I do have seen some artist paint using spray cans, but that was the first time I saw some artist paint using a chalk. He made the ‘painting’ on the street beside the Yarra river, so you can only appreciate the ‘painting’, but not buy it 😉
By the way, the ‘painting’ is made using chalk, so it’s easy to clean 😉
Interesting … 🙂
