Entering the beauty of Curug Cimarinjung – On my previous blog post about what to do in Ciletuh, I have said that Ciletuh has some waterfall or βcurugβ to visit and explore. I did manage to visit a few, and one of them was Curug Cimarinjung. The place is actually located at the same area of Puncak Darma, well basically at the bottom area of the hill of Puncak Darma.

How to reach Curug Cimarinjung
From the same parking area with Puncak Darma, there is this direction that will let you know, which way to Curug Cimarinjung. There will be no more hike or loads of sweat to reach Curug Cimarinjung. I just walked on a pathway and followed the river, hmm, not exactly river, but more like a ditch. This ditch will lead us to Curug Cimarinjung, which is the source of the water of the ditch. The direction said that the distance between to waterfall is about 400 meters, which is still a walkable route and very close lah.

Is it worth the walk
Trust me, it is worth the walk. Once you can see the waterfall from the distance, it feels like you are entering the garden of Eden — although I have never set my feet on the garden of Eden. I just could not wait to see it from the close distance.

Curug Cimarinjung from the distance!
I needed to walk between a narrow path between the rock, then I needed to walk up the stairs to reach Curug Cimarinjung. And voila! Such a beauty!

I entered the place from the right side of the waterfall. The water falls and creates a pond with fresh water before it finally flows in between two big stones at the edge then continue to be the source of the river and the ditch that I passed earlier. Opposite of us, there is an area of greenery, just like a garden. Itβs so green! Perhaps itβs because they have a sufficient supply of water and sunlight.

Such a beauty!
This is such a perfect representation of the Garden of Eden or do I exaggerate a bit? π
Photographers favourite spot
While I was there, of course this place is visited by some of the people, not just myself. Apparently, when I wanted to walk back, I bumped into several photographers with their expensive professional cameras and big lenses plus filters. They just positioned their cameras on their tripods, and just took some of good pictures. Apparently, this waterfall is not just a favourite place for general visitors, but also a good spot for photographers.
I did not take the photo of the photographers, but well, just trust me π

Curug Cimarinjung is definitely a must visit in Ciletuh

A good spot for photo shoot too π
